Treatments

A Vitamin or Treatment injection is an intramuscular injection that treats various vitamin deficiencies. It is absorbed into your bloodstream via your muscles. Unlike orally taken vitamins (with a maximum absorption rate of 20%), vitamin shots bypass the digestive system and result in a 90-100% vitamin absorption rate

  • Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps to keep your nerves and blood cells healthy. Our bodies don’t make Vitamin B12, it is obtained from foods such as meat, fish, milk, and eggs. You may have a deficiency if you are vegan, don’t eat enough B12-rich food, or if you have other health conditions which mean you are unable to absorb it properly, such as pernicious anemia

What is Biotin?

You may recognize vitamin B7 by its popular name Biotin. It is a water-soluble B7 found naturally in some foods and also in supplements. Biotin plays a vital role in assisting enzymes to break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins in food. It also helps to regulate signals sent by cells and the activity of genes.

What is Vitamin C?

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has several important functions: helping to protect cells and keeping them healthy, maintaining healthy skin, blood vessels, bones, and cartilage, and helping with wound healing

What is vitamin D

During the autumn and winter, you need to get vitamin D from your diet because the sun is not strong enough for the body to make vitamin D.

But since it's difficult for people to get enough vitamin D from food alone, everyone (including pregnant and breastfeeding women) should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of vitamin D during the autumn and winter.

You may choose not to have vitamin D injections during these months but some people will not make enough vitamin D from sunlight because they have very little or no sunshine exposure.
